The ALIFDO Gazette is ALIFDO’s official newsletter, available only to members. We are always looking for people interested in contributing a piece, which can be as short or as long as you want it to be and cover any topic that may be of interest to our members. The style is informal, and footnotes are not required. We try to publish the ALIFDO Gazette three times a year.
For each issue we identify one person who acts as the content editor. Basically, that means you are in charge of reaching out to members for contributions, and then chasing everyone up who has committed to write a piece, making sure it is received by the agreed deadline. You then put all those pieces into a “master Word document,” and, together with any pictures contributors may have provided, pass it on to the people in charge of putting it all into a nice newsletter lay-out, and who will then send it to all members.
We are currently looking for members willing to be content editor for the winter 2019 and spring 2020 editions.
If you have website building, or digital lay-out skills, we would also like to hear from you.
